Tremosine sul Garda offers romantic sights and unique views overlooking Lake Garda, especially at sunset.
The most famous balconies overlooking Lake Garda in the Tremosine sul Garda area are located in Pieve, a village with breathtaking views, thanks to its position overlooking the lake.
If you look at Tremosine sul Garda from below, you can see the houses of Pieve lined up on the edge of a cliff, more than 400 meters above sea level. The village is located right on top of a crag excavated by a glacier.
There are numerous vantage points to see Lake Garda and the mountains around it - the first is located at the top of Vicolo della Scaletta, where you’ll be able to enjoy a stunning view extending all the way to Campione from a balcony full of flowers.
Piazza Cozzaglio is the other famous panoramic point in Pieve. The square, dedicated to one of Tremosine sul Garda’s most beloved citizens, opens up towards the lake, with a breathtaking view of Monte Baldo.
This terrace is actually suspended in the air, and there is a cute bench perfect to admire Lake Garda from above. After a day discovering the beauties of Tremosine, you should head here to watch the sky change colours at sunset. An unmissable experience!
The last vantage point is located higher up, after Villa Paradiso - it’s the famous Terrazza del Brivido, a balcony completely suspended in space, 365 meters above sea level.
From here you can look at the twists of Strada della Forra while sipping an aperitivo. Just sit down and relax, and let the famous Garda winds caress you, refreshing even the hottest days at this altitude.
A curious fact? Walking through the alleys of Tremosine sul Garda you can come across a plaque that reads: ‘Pieve, those who look from your balconies open the heart to the magical Garda’.
