And this is precisely why our territory, thanks to its conformation and the care we take of it, is home to hundreds of animal species. Between the shores of the lake, you may spot trout, eels or even a salmonid, a species that lives only in Lake Garda, and as you climb upwards you might hear a cuckoo or come across a golden eagle, for some years a guest of the peaks of Montea Tombea. And sharpen your eyesight if you reach the summit: ibex, roe deer, weasels, and marmots prance among the rocks.
